The 2010 Highlander from the Toyota group might come with the latest transmissions for the V6 powered non hybrid models. The vehicle falls under the category of mid sized crossover SUVs and provides seating capacity for 7 passengers by folding the third row seat and the second row bucket seats.

The second row in the model provides seating capacity for 3-passengers through a padded center section that can be detached and folded whenever required. The vehicle will be offered in the all wheel drive as well as the front wheel drive. The model might be offered in all the trim levels like the Limited, Sport, base and the electric or gas hybrid trim levels.
The base versions may come with the 2.7 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 187 horse power of energy. The 3.5 liter V6 engine that produces 270 horse power of energy will also be provided optionally in the Limited, Sport and the Base models. As in case of the previous models, all the models will come with the six speed automatic transmission, while the 5-speed transmission will be replaced by the six speed transmission in the V6 model engines.
